Yesterday we celebrated some amazing Teens in the community at the City of Alexandria Police Department Teen Law Enforcement Academy Graduation! The Teen Law Enforcement Academy was designed to give teens the opportunity to formulate their own bias towards the police profession. A bi-product of this academy has been creating a family-like bond between the officers of the Alexandria City Police Department and the teens who attend the academy. With that, due to the teens learning all aspects of policing, the City of Alexandria Police Department has noticed a rising interest in the profession. Congratulations to all the participants and future law enforcers!
